Baking Directions

1. Mix eggwhites, vinegar and the vanilla in a bowl at a medium speed. Continue beating until it thickens or a soft crowning is formed.

3. Grease a springform pan and pour the mixture in. Spread it evenly and bake at 300 degrees Fahrenheit or 149 degrees Celsiusfor approximately an hour or until lightly browned.

4. Remove the cake from the pan and transfer it to a wire rack to cool or let the meringue fall

5. Top the cake with whipped cream and fruits.

Tips:

Ingredients

• Halved candied cherries

• Finely chopped candied pineapples

• Golden raisins

• Candied mixed fruit peel

• Almonds (split some almonds in half to be used as a topping)

• Pecans

• All-purpose flour

• Butter, softened

• White sugar

• Eggs about 8 pieces

• Vanilla extract

• Orange juice

• Baking powder

• Salt

Baking Directions

1. Heat up the oven and set it to 275 degrees Fahrenheit or 135 degrees Celsius.

2. Use a pan of your choice and apply grease on a brown paper to avoid sticking.

3. Stir the fruits and nuts together in a bowl and gradually add flour (about one cup).

4. Continue beating until the fruits and nuts are covered in flour.

5. Mix the butter and and two cups of sugar in another bowl.

6. Add one egg at a time while beating the butter and sugar mixture.

7. Add one-fourth cup of orange juice and a teaspoon of vanilla, combine with flour (about 5 cups), baking powder, and salt.

8. Stir until the texture becomes creamy.

9. Pour in the floured fruits and nuts mixture and stir well.

10. Spread the mixture on the pan and top it off with the split almonds.

11. Bake for 3 hours.

Tips:

• To know when the cake is ready stick a toothpick in. It will indicate if it is ready when it comes out clean. If not, bake the cake a little longer and repeat the toothpick process.

• If the top gets too dark cover it with foil to avoid the cake from burning.

Almond Wedding Cake

Ingredients

• A pack of white cake mix

• All-purpose flour

• White sugar

• Salt

• Water

• Sour cream

• Vegetable oil

• Almond extract

• Vanilla extract

• Eggwhites (4 eggs)

Baking Directions

1. Warm the oven at 325 degrees Fahrenheit or 165 degrees Celsius.

2. Grease a pan of your choice.

3. Stir the cake mix, flour, and salt in a bowl. Mix it well.

4. Pour water (a cup and a half), a cup of sour cream, and two tablespoons of vegetable oil, almond and vanilla extracts of one teaspoon each, and the eggwhites.
